This Data Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal data Whistley 2000 Scout Group process through this website and for what purposes.

Whistley 2000 Scout Group are committed to collecting and using such data fairly and in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the regulations set by the European Union, and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018), the UK Law that encompasses the GDPR.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of this website, whistley2000.org.uk, the website of Whistley 2000 Scout Group.

Who we are

Whistley 2000 Scout Group are an excepted charity by the Charity Commissioner for England and Wales.

The Data Controller for Whistley 2000 Scout Group is the Trustee Board who are appointed at an Annual General Meeting and are Charity Trustees. The Chair of the Charity Trustees is Chris Hazelby and can be contacted via info@whistley2000.org.uk.

From this point on, Whistley 2000 Scout Group will be referred to as “we” or “our”.

Being a small charity, we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

The contact forms in use on our website capture personal data when submitted. Our forms only capture personal data that is provided by yourself when completing the form.

Fluent Forms stores a record of all form submissions. Your data may be deleted by the site administrator. You may request a report of saved data related to your email address.

The data provided is shared via email with the relevant volunteer(s) so that your enquiry can be actioned. This platform will retain your details from the date of submission until you ask us to delete them.

The information you submit through our contact forms will not used for marketing purposes.
